Phishers Abuse Marquez-Pacquiao Upcoming Box-Fight PDF Print E-mail

According to researchers at Trend Micro the computer security company, phishers are distributing e-mails that use the names of Sarangani Rep. and boxing stalwart Emmanuel "Manny" Pacquiao as well as newly-arrived rival Juan Manuel Marquez while targeting Internet-users, published gmanews.tv dated November 8, 2011.


Basically, Trend Micro says that it has encountered spam mails citing the upcoming boxing game between Marquez and Pacquiao to attack computer operators.

The company, while remarking about the above mentioned e-mail scam, stated that the spam mail asserted as being a notice from one major Internet shopping site. It informed the readers that the ticket orders they'd placed for watching the Marquez-Pacquiao boxing bout in Las Vegas had been successfully processed, the security company described.
