Movie maker Darryl Manson based in Sydney was directing a film on The Angels, a rock band when to his shock the just bought hard drive namely Seagate of 1.5 terabyte he obtained from Dick Smith the retailer, turned out to be corrupted. Softpedia.com published this, December 23, 2011.


The portable device cost Manson $129, as per the label, however, on fitting it onto the laptop he used, it became evident that the hard drive actually had a storage capacity of 30GB, with the greater part of it already containing counterfeit films like Toy Story.

Consequently, Manson instantly began posting tweets regarding Smith's treatment of the product so that when the retail outlet's people read them, they sent a person with one new hard drive to Manson's residence.
