Kaspersky, which recently released its third quarter i.e. Q3-2011 spam report, states that merely 6 countries were sources of over half of the entire e-mail junk worldwide during July-September 2011, with India contributing 14.8%, the largest volume of the bulk e-mails.
Essentially, India was the nation-state that led Indonesia with 10.6% of all spam, Brazil with 9.65%, Peru -6.65%, South Korea -5.85% and Ukraine -3.7%, the report highlights.
Also according to the report, countries, which made it to the ten most prevalent contributors of spam, belonged to South America, Eastern Europe and Asia.
