According to PandaLabs the security company, which just released one fresh report, new strains of malicious programs are coming on the Internet at a mean rate of 73,000 daily.
States the company that although the rate of increase has become less during the past months, fresh malware programs' payloads are up 26% since 2010 (same months), when fresh strains of malicious programs were at a mean of 58,000 per day.
Among those fresh strains, infection tools for PC Trojans were used in the maximum number of malware incidences as they contributed a 70% share in the total malware. PC viruses came in on No.2, accounting for 16%.
