The Consumer Affairs Unit of TDCI is advising clients for remaining vigilant about e-mails, which summon recipients to answer a survey in exchange of an online gift card, reported Lawrenceburg NOW dated September 14, 2011.


Unfortunately, if anyone answers the survey, he'll get inundated with phone-calls from telemarketers rather than receive the card.

Actually, the e-mail fraudsters are dispatching a message carrying certain queries regarding personal information within the set-up of a consult. Appearing as lawful, the message contains the logo of a company as well as prominent fast food outlets' and retail chains' copyrights.
