A Bank Account of Oakdale City Undergoes Theft of $118,000 PDF Print E-mail

California, USA's Oakdale City Police stated that they as well as the government of the federation were probing one security breach, which resulted in the theft of $118,000 from a bank account in Oakdale City. Kcra.com reported this on September 21, 2011.


Telling more about the above mentioned assault, Gregory Wellman Interim City Manager stated that the breach became noticeable around 6th September 2011, however, it was disclosed only on September 21, 2011 in order that the investigation remained unhindered. Explaining the assault, Wellman stated that a PC worm infected a system in the city that let somebody gain admission into private data as also make a money transfer from an Oakdale bank's commercial account.
